Clarion Associates, Inc. performs real estate related consulting and valuation services for a wide variety of clients in the context of everything from litigation support and expert testimony to conservation and preservation easement valuation. Clarion staff members have appraised every major type of improved property (office, industrial, retail, residential, parking garages, hotels and motels), vacant land considered for a variety of use categories, and such special purpose properties as railroad right-of-ways, theme parks, post offices, airports, health clubs, theaters, sand and gravel pits, landfills, water storage reservoirs, and truck terminals.

Clarion principals have testified in a variety of courtroom and administrative settings. A number of the members of Clarion Associates are also experienced attorneys, so the firm is comfortable in handling such mixed issues of law and real estate economics as valuation of partial interests; analysis of the contribution to value resulting from special partnership allocations; analyzing special financing or ownership/development structures such as land leases, sale/leaseback arrangements, participating mortgages, or other types of joint ventures; and real estate damage theory, causation, and calculation.
